House of Bid
How staff run estate pickup after the clock
After the sale closes, only staff walk the house. Leave every paid piece in the room where it was photographed. Set a staging table at the front. Buyers wait there with a pass. Staff fetch by tag, scan, and match the invoice. A wrong handoff is a refund. If it is not marked, it does not leave.
Why leave the lot in that section?
The photo, the QR, and the room are the lot. A hallway pile mixes paid lamps with unsold chairs. Saturday help then guesses. Leave it where you found it. Staff fetch one tagged piece at a time to the front.
Why can buyers not walk the house?
They already paid. If they pick the wrong dresser, they will want a refund and the house loses money. After the clock, only staff go inside. Buyers wait at the porch, garage mouth, or first room with a pickup pass.
What is the staging place for?
One table at the front. Staff bring the tagged lot, scan it, and match the invoice line. The lot leaves from staging — never from a bedroom. Unmarked pieces stay in the house.
Questions
Can family helpers roam with buyers?
- No. Helpers who fetch lots are staff for that window. Everyone else stays at the front. Print the pickup card from the kit and tape it at staging.
What if a piece has no sticker?
- It does not leave. Guessing is how the wrong lamp goes home. Bind the tag before pickup or hold the piece until the seller confirms it.
